BEYOND, the international digital technology and innovation exhibition, which takes place in Thessaloniki, is back with a bang on April 25-27th.
The main subject of the event will be the AI revolution, and its role and effects on our daily lives will be analysed in depth.
In the framework of BEYOND 2024, visitors will have the opportunity to attend a number of specialised side events, workshops, and seminars that will cover a broad range of topical issues and will host many important participants/speakers, who will highlight and cover every aspect of these topics.

1. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CONGRESS: THE AGE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. UNLOCKING THE POTENTIAL.
The artificial intelligence congress, ‘The Age of the Artificial Intelligence. Unlocking the Potential’, aims to go deeper into the momentum, challenges, and impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on both industry and society. It provides a platform for visionaries,
distinguished industry leaders, innovators and technology enthusiasts to co-exist, meet, and explore the limitless possibilities of artificial intelligence, while addressing important ethical issues that highlight an anthropocentric approach. Congress participants include very important speakers from Greece and around the world.
2. SEE BEYOND MMINISTERIAL LEADERSHIP DIALOGUE 2024 / Chaired by the Minister of Digital Governance of the Hellenic Republic
SEE Beyond Ministerial Leadership Dialogue 2024 focuses on opportunities and barriers related to digital innovation, the importance of investment in building strong digital infrastructure, and the challenges that need to be addressed to facilitate effective digital collaboration across south-eastern Europe. SEE Beyond Ministerial Leadership Dialogue 2024 will focus on the first structured dialogue on global digital challenges between south-eastern Europe and the countries of the Global South.
3. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & DIGITAL MANAGEMENT AT LOCAL AUTHORITIES
The ‘Kleisthenis’ Panhellenic Union of General Secretaries of Local Government is organising a two-day scientific congress on a number of topical scientific issues that directly concern the present and the future of local government.
4. 11th TECHNOLOGY FORUM
The 11th Technology Forum is being co-organised by 25 leading organisations and is a unique platform for industry and research to
share ideas and spark pioneering innovations that are shaping the future. This year’s Technology Forum promises to be even more exciting, as it is bringing together a broad range of experts, thought leaders, and innovators from around the world, while for the first time you can attend the Innovation for Society Awards 2024.

5. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN AGRICULTURE
An event with a very timely theme: How can artificial intelligence (AI) respond to the unprecedented challenges facing agriculture today due to global population growth, climate change, lack of resources, and the urgent need for sustainable practices? It will examine the role of technology and explore innovative applications and solutions to address current and future challenges, as well as how to promote the agricultural industry toward a more productive, efficient, and sustainable future.
6. TECHNICAL CONCEPT & CREATIVITY: SHAPING THE FUTURE THROUGH INNOVATION AND POLICY
The congress titled ‘AI and Creativity: Shaping the Future Through Innovation and Policy’ is a truly pioneering four-hour event focused on exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), creativity, and sustainability within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). The congress will attempt to involve policymakers, creators, industry professionals, and technology enthusiasts in a discussion on harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence, and the power of creativity to address pressing societal challenges and redefine the future of Europe’s cultural landscape.
7. INNOVATION IN GREECE 5.0: INITIATIVES FOR INNOVATION AND THE AGENCIES THAT SUPPORT THEM
The ‘Innovation Greece 5.0: Initiatives for Innovation and the Agencies that Support them’ two-day conference aims to capture the innovation landscape in Northern Greece by thoroughly exploring its every aspect. Starting by defining innovation in this particular geographical area, the analysis will cover potential beneficiaries, sectors of the economy affected, organisations supporting groups and companies seeking innovation, available financial tools, and any other possible form of support provided.
8. FEMALE ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND GENDER EQUALITY IN THE WORKPLACE
This extremely interesting three-hour workshop on ‘Female Entrepreneurship and Gender Equality in the Workplace’ includes presentations by distinguished speakers on issues related to the current situation in Greece, the possibilities that exist in the business arena, funding opportunities and awareness-raising measures, as well as open discussion panels.
BEYOND is being organised by TIF-HELEXPO, Be-Best, and Industry Disruptors Game Changers (IDGC), and the co-organisers comprise of the Ministry of Digital Governance, the Region of Central Macedonia, the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE), and the Municipality of Thessaloniki. It is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the ‘Kleisthenis’ Panhellenic Union of General Secretaries of Local Government.
