BRANKO AZESKI

Mr. Branko Azeski was born on 31 January 1962 in Ohrid, North Macedonia. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and was a Constitutional Law teaching assistant at the Faculty of Security and Social Self-Defense in Skopje.
In his professional career, he has held the following posts:
Mr. Branko Azeski was elected as President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia on 10 March 2005, a position that he holds to this day. Also, deputy Chair of the Western Balkans 6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF), headquartered in Trieste, Italy, since 2018.
Chief Executive Officer of the GS1 standards association – GS1 Macedonia since 2012.
Honorary Consul of Montenegro in the Republic of North Macedonia, headquartered in Shtip, since 2016 to 2021.
Member of the Advisory Committee of the Southeast Europe Business Development Network in Vienna since 2019, member of the Advisory Board of the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana since 2018.
Honorary Vice President of the Routes of the Olive Tree Foundation, Kalamatas, Greece – since 2019
General Manager of the Aleksandar Palace Hotel, Skopje (1998-2003)
Member of the National Council for Euro-Integrations under the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia (2005-2013)

Мr. Branko Azeski has received numerous awards during his professional career.
He received the special recognition Best Chamber Manager in the Region in 2013, awarded by the European Management Association.
In 2022, Mr. Azeski received CHARTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA awarded personally from the President of the Republic of North Macedonia for his fundamental contribution to the modernization and development of the economy, as well as for his highly professional management of the Economic Chamber, for the invaluable contribution representing the interests of the North Macedonian economy, which is in the interest of the entire society.
