Dimitrios Adamos

Dr. Dimitrios Adamos is an esteemed Honorary Senior Research Fellow for the Department of Computing at Imperial College London. His passion for advancing the field of neuroscience and artificial intelligence has led him to become the leader of the groundbreaking #MyBrainTunes experiment, which took place at London’s renowned Science Museum. Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr. Adamos is also a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Cogitat, a successful spinout company from Imperial College. Cogitat specializes in developing cutting-edge AI and machine learning technology for decoding brain waves. Dr. Adamos’ impressive educational background includes a MEng in Electrical & Computer Engineering, an MSc in Medical Informatics from the School of Medicine, and a PhD in Neuroinformatics from the School of Biology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Throughout his career, his research has concentrated on applying machine learning techniques to real-life Brain-Computer Interface applications, and he has been recognized as an invited technology demonstrator in the industry.
