Milica Vesovic holds a Master of Arts degree in Law from the University of Belgrade (Serbia) (1997) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the University of North London (London Metropolitan) 2002 with a Common Professional Examination approved by the Law Society of England and Wales. Before joining the Council of Europe in 2010, she worked for a corporate law firm in London, and the American firm Booz Allen Hamilton.
For over a decade, she has dedicated her career to the Council of Europe, serving as a human rights lawyer and now, in her current position as a Programme Manager within the Innovative Solutions for Human Rights and Justice Unit, Transversal Challenges and Multilateral Projects Task Force – Department for the Implementation of Human Rights, Justice and Legal Co-operation Standards, Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe. She spearheads bilateral and multilateral co-operation projects primarily focused on digital transformation and innovation in the justice sector, with a focus on policy-level advice related to the efficiency of justice, digitalisation, use of artificial intelligence, and cybercrime challenges.
