Vivi Papasouli

Vivi is a Regional Mandate Manager at the European Investment Fund, overseeing EIF equity regional mandates in Greece, Bulgaria and Cyprus. The EIF’s main objective is to support SMEs’ access to finance through innovative and inclusive financial instruments. Vivi is working closely with national and regional partners on the ground to design and implement equity initiatives that help boost VC / PE ecosystems in EU’s less mature markets. She is also part of EIF teams cooperating with EC services on horizontal issues including state aid, the MFF, regulatory frameworks (e.g. Structural Funds, the RRF, InvestEU etc.). 

Prior to joining the EIF, Vivi worked for more than 14 years in both the private and public sectors on a number of European programmes and projects, covering a wide range of initiatives focusing on regional development, EU cohesion, ICT, etc. She is a certified Project Manager, has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor degree in Finance & Accounting.
