Xenofon Kontouris
Founder of Athens Labs | part of the Executive Team of the International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA)
Xenofon Kontouris is a token economist, entrepreneur, and community leader in the Web3 space, with a special focus on Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and European Crypto-Asset Policy. He holds an MSc in Digital Currencies from the University of Nicosia, and a dual BA in Economics and Political Science from Beloit College in the United States. Xenofon is the founder of Athens Labs, a Venture Studio focusing on the application of Crypto Assets across a number of verticals and industry niches. Outside of his entrepreneurial endeavors, Xenofon is part of the Executive Team of the International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) – the premier association on blockchain and policy in Europe. Within INATBA, Xenofon supports the Finance WG in the production of its policy outputs and regulator engagements. Alongside his work through INATBA, Xenofon is a selected expert on crypto-assets for the European Blockchain Observatory and Forum (EUBOF) and the Digital Euro Association (DEA). He is also a contributor to multiple other projects in the Web3 space.
